A consulting engagement runs on hours: time entries logged, justified, and argued over before anyone gets to the actual work. That is not how this team operates. We work on retainer, and the retainer is the whole point. It removes the back-and-forth of time entry entirely, so we can spend an hour, a day, or a week wherever the result actually needs it, not wherever the invoice needs it.
